Activities

Leagues are open to all club members and non-members in good standing with the NRA.

League fees are used to purchase targets and trophies.

Leagues run eight weeks.  Three shoots per session.  Participants must be present for at least four sessions.  Ten shoot minimum to place for trophy.

  • Bulls-Eye Pistol League
    Event Description

  • .22 Cal Rifle League
    Event Description
    Open to all Club Members and non-Members in good standing with the NRA.  See Leagues for more information and dates
  • Annual Luck Target Turkey Shoot
    Event Description
    Participants shoot at a "luck" target, a grid with random numbers on it where the numbers are not visible to the shooter. Numbers are added to determine score. High score wins turkey gift certificate or similar prize.  This is in November before Thanksgiving.
  • Juniors Program

    .22 Rifle.  Ages 12 and older.

  • Range Safety Officer Certification
    Event Description
    RSA Club Members MUST take this course for range key access and to fulfill your RSO Officer obligation!. Contact Mark Dorfman for more info.
  • Skeet Shoots
    Event Description
    Joint event at selected times of the year at Orange County Range.  See Calendar for dates..
  • Big Bore Shoots
    Event Description

  •  Tactical Shoot Course
    Event Description
    Held when there is sufficient demand and a suitable instructor is available..The shoot is designed to help you develop tactical skills.  It includes a series of timed fire drills using challenging targets from the line at 7 yards.  It is suggested that you use your home defense or regular carry pistol / revolver.  You MUST have a strong side holster to carry your pistol during the shoot.  NO SHOULDER, ANKLE, OR CROSS-DRAW HOLSTERS. Bring extra magazines if you have them.  Bring your own cardboard backboards.  Targets will be provided.
