About RSA

The club is open to both men and women to join as members.  Prospective members need to meet certain criteria and follow the club's application process ( Become a Member).

Club Partnerships

• Annually the club forgoes its April meeting for members to attend the Rockland County Friends of the NRA dinner.
• Club members are invited to participate in skeet and shotgun events at Monroe Gun Club.

History

The club began in 1937 as the Ramapough Revolver Association.  The original range was in a different location in Suffern.  The town of Suffern wanted the location for town usage so an arrangement was made for the town to get the original range location and the club got the current location. A more extensive history of the club and officers is available here.

Members volunteer to maintain the range facilities.
